Our Honeymoon Island State Park is located in Dunedin Florida with an address of #1 Causeway Blvd. Dunedin, FL 34698. Honeymoon Island Park opens at 8am and closes at sundown. The entrance fee is currently $8 per car with free parking once inside. If you are planning your wedding here, a permit is required.

We are happy to process the permit for you. The special event permit fee begins at $150 and Includes entrance for all guests (on day of event only). Florida's state parks are committed to providing equal access to all facilities and programs.

Honeymoon Island State Park has several pavilions for rent. The pavilions are not directly on the beach and have no beach view.

Honeymoon Island is a barrier island that sits on over 2,785 acres. Its natural beauty make this a must see beach park. The beach is rather narrow and in some places can be rocky which can make weddings here not quite as appealing as the beaches to the south.

Shelling is particularly good here, as the Gulf currents deposit an incredible variety of seashells on the shore. A fun thing to do with children before your sunset wedding.

Honeymoon Island offers a ferry service to Caladesi Island, however you can also reach Caladesi Island by walking north from Clearwater Beach, Florida.
